Register for parent-Teacher ConferencesOur second set of Parent/Teacher Conferences are set for Thursday, April 21 (4-8 pm) and Friday, April 22 (9 am - noon). You can access the Conference Manager software by clicking [here]. You must book by 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 20. This set of Parent-Teacher Conferences will be back to face-to-face style. If you would prefer a conference over the phone or a virtual meet via Google Meet, please indicate one of those options in the PARENT COMMENTS field when booking your appointment. Please specify what type of conference you prefer (Phone or Google Meet). If you leave no comment, you are booking a face to face appointment. We look forward to meeting our new Mavericks and their families soon! MAVERICKS ATHLETICS REPORT Our Maverick Badminton competed in its first tournament in over two years. It was such a monumental occasion that we felt we needed to host it to make sure it was even more special. Twenty Maverick student-athletes participated and we had some excellent results. High school track is ready to begin snow or shine! Check in with Mr. Lehmann for more information. Track is an awesome opportunity to improve your skills and fitness, regardless of your sport of choice. Grade 7/8 badminton practices are Tuesdays after school with tournaments on Wednesdays. A couple of weekends ago, a number of our Mavericks put on another familiar jersey and had a great experience! The FIRST EVER Red River Wild U9 Girls hockey team played in the Winnipeg Stars cup and brought home the gold medal! These girls worked hard and had so much fun as a team! It was a great way to cap their season! The Wild had 10 young women this year and a few are moving up to U11. In order for this winning 'mojo' going, the return U9 Wild are hoping to see other young women in the community try the sport of hockey! Way to Go, WILD/MAV's! We are proud of you making history in our community! Mrs. legary is back with a recipe!summer camp anyone?Sport Manitoba's summer camp offers a variety of activities that promote and develop key athletic attributes, such as confidence, teamwork, functional foundations, and multi-sport skills. The camp is open to kids aged 8-11 and is the perfect opportunity to get active while having fun and trying out different sports and activities.
