Ed. Class During the past few weeks our Kindergarten to Grade six classes have been learning the basics of gymnastics in Physical Education class. This includes different tumbles such as, somersaults, back somersaults and cartwheels. The students also were able to use some new equipment such as the balance beam and vault which they learned many new skills on. To conclude our gymnastics unit, students in Grades 3/4 and 5/6 made groups and created a gymnastics routine, which they practiced and performed for their class. Each group did a great job using the different equipment and demonstrating new skills they learned. Mr. Ricard did video everyone’s routine, so if you would like to see your child’s performance, send Mr. Ricard a quick email and he can send the video your way!
