Grade 5/6's hard at work improving the schoolOn Thursday, our Grade 5/6 classes took part in a great improvement project at the school. The students, their teachers, EA's, with the assistance of Mr. Dyck took on a revitalization project of the outdoor classroom just outside their current classroom windows! The students stained, raked, sanded, brushed, and landscaped their way to start an important project that will benefit the entire school. We are proud of you! A special shoutout to Brady Knutson who was recognized as the hardest worker during the Grade 5/6's time outside. Way to go, Brady! Manitoba has given YFC-Morris grants to hire two youth at $12/hour, 15 hours/week for 4 months. We’re looking for two youth who are 15 or older who love working with their hands and being outside. The hours can fluctuate from week to week and month to month, so a student could end up working less than 15 hours/week in May/June while they are still in school and more than that in July/August.
