February is 'I LOVE to Read month!'February is I Love to Read month. It is a month full of fun activities surrounding reading and a time to sit back and read, read, read! This year we are celebrating reading with the Canadian Heroes theme. Each class has been challenged with a reading goal. If we meet this goal, the school will buy our classroom $100.00 worth of books! Below is a calendar with suggested activities that you can do at home with your child. If your child completes an activity, their name will be entered into a draw for a prize. Thank you for your support in promoting the love of reading at home! we kickoff 'I love to read' with the bombers! We were fortunate on the first day of 'I Love To Read Month' to host some special guest readers. Tanner Cadwallader (#47) and Patrick Neufeld (#53) dropped by the library to read for our Grades 3-6 students. The animated reading style, combined with an interactive question-and-answer session was the highlight of the day!
