Online booking appointments for our upcoming conferences are open. The booking software closes on Wednesday, November 20th at noon. For our K-8 families, this is the same software you used to book the Strong Beginnings sessions. Due to the large number of Kindergarten students this year, Mrs. Roberge has her own conference sessions set up online. If you are booking an appointment to see her, please use the Kindergarten Thursday night session or the Kindergarten Friday Morning session to do so. If a teacher is fully booked and unavailable, please contact the teacher directly to arrange a meeting outside of the regular parent-teacher meeting times. You can access the online booking software by click here. If you are new to the online software, you would need to click on the blue "Register Now" button just below the login window. Grade 5/6 Chess club is up and running!Maverick Varsity Volleyball wraps upThe varsity volleyball seasons wrapped up this weekend as both teams unfortunately failed to qualify for provincials. Both teams represented our school admirably, the girls being just 1 point shy of clinching that elusive provincial tournament spot. Despite this weekend's disappointment, it would be unfair to call this season anything other than a huge success! Combined, the teams had a 74% win percentage (138-48), produced 5 tournament championships, 8 player of the game/tournament all-star awards, 2 MHSAA Athlete of the Week awards, an overall league record of 16-2, and two Zone Championships. Congratulations to both teams, and thank you for the countless hours you have put in over the years to help make our athletics program what it is today. Maverick Athletic UpdateOur Grade 7/8 volleyball teams participate in their divisional tournament on Tuesday and that will officially wrap up volleyball season at Morris School.
