Students in K, Grades 2, 4, 6 will be moving to new homerooms next year. IF you have some feedback regarding your student's preference to be with another student (singular), please forward those requests on to Mr. Watson via email. Meetings will start the week of May 8th, so please submit your requests by Friday, May 5th. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but they cannot be guaranteed. We will not entertain teacher requests as a variety of factors go into deciding what homeroom a student will be placed so we can achieve as much balance and harmony to all of our homeroom classes as possible. all proceeds go to outdoor courts projectsGymnastics was a Hit in Phys. Ed. Class During the past few weeks our Kindergarten to Grade six classes have been learning the basics of gymnastics in Physical Education class. This includes different tumbles such as, somersaults, back somersaults and cartwheels. The students also were able to use some new equipment such as the balance beam and vault which they learned many new skills on. To conclude our gymnastics unit, students in Grades 3/4 and 5/6 made groups and created a gymnastics routine, which they practiced and performed for their class. Each group did a great job using the different equipment and demonstrating new skills they learned. Mr. Ricard did video everyone’s routine, so if you would like to see your child’s performance, send Mr. Ricard a quick email and he can send the video your way! A huge thank you to the Morris Multiplex and Gym Kids program for letting us borrow the gymnastics equipment. It was a huge hit! Several friends have scrambled their brains in the process. Your company will capitalize on this new sport by building a structure to place on the floor where Eddie and his friends can land safely.
