Thank you, Mrs. Klassen!Mrs. Destiny Klassen spent her last week at Morris School as an employee. Mrs. Klassen has been an Educational Assistant at our school for a few years. Her kindness, hard work, and consideration for others (students or staff) is tremendous. An example of this, was this past Thursday when Mrs. Klassen baked food for the entire staff. At time when we should have been honouring her, she reciprocated with this gesture. We wish Mrs. Klassen well in her new role welcoming new Canadians to the area. smile cookie campaign - helps outdoor courtsTim Horton’s is donating 100% of all proceeds from this year’s smile campaign to the Morris Outdoor Courts Project. Our students made us so incredibly proud as they demonstrated great maturity, respect, and kindness throughout the week. Countless new friendships were made along with so many great memories. They even had an extra day to bond together when they had to stay an extra night in Saskatoon on the way home due to poor road conditions and closures. Thank you to our incredible chaperones, Crystal Legary, Jack Wiebe and Esther Wiebe for all of your help this past week!! Congrats, Senior Band on a successful trip! We are so proud of you! Way to Go, MAV's! 5/6s approach math in a creative way5/6S has been working on surface area and volume in math. They were tasked with designing a mini cereal box measuring surface area and volume. They started by getting their measurements done and then put that information into their formulas. Once their formulas were checked over and completed the designing began! Students had to come up with an original title, include nutrition facts and a fun game on the back of the box. access plant saleThe ACCESS Plant Sale has started!
