Mrs. Derewianchuk The School Grad Committee k-4 field day - a huge success!!It has been awhile since we have been able to host a field day like this and I can honestly say, all of the kids had missed it and they all had a great time! Students, kindergarten to grade 4 competed in 10 different events. Five of the events being track and field events we had been working on in Phys. Ed. class and the other 5 events being team co-operative stations. There was also a tug-of-war event, which may have been the highlight of the day! All of our students participated very well and most importantly they all had FUN! A huge thank you to Mrs. Skoglund and Mr. Moore’s grade 5/6 classes who helped set up and lead our young students around for the day. It was good to see what great role models the 5/6’s were to the younger kids. We definitely could not have done it without the 5/6 students. Also, thank you to all the teachers and EA’s who helped with the day! A special thanks to Mrs. Skoglund and Mrs. Wattam who organized the canteen and all the EA’s who worked the canteen during the day! One last shout out to Pat and the Big Way staff for helping with the pizza lunch.
